Case Statement | Vision
What would it be like to see a fragmented community working together
towards a common cause greater than them? What would it look like
if a community of such diversity began to understand one another
- with each of our backgrounds, hopes, dreams, pains, and circumstances?
What would it look like for future leaders to be empowered and equipped
with the tools, confidence, and values that could change the world?
What would it look like for residents to gain a sense of ownership
for their city – to practice what it is to be a good neighbor?
What would it look like for the next generation or two or three?
Catalyst sees the culture in every area and region reinvented.
We see positive and healthy social alternatives for meeting new
friends. We see a community of diverse people who sets an example
for how to embrace differences. We see residents contributing to
the life of the city by caring for the less fortunate and encouraging
healthy living. We see community leaders investing in the lives
of young people and believing in their potential. We see leaders
thinking outside-the-box and casting vision for new possibilities
and solutions for our world.
Vision Statement:
The vision of Catalyst is to inspire people towards
a greater sense of community, collaboration and citizenship through
meaningful relationships.
- COMMUNITY - the tangible experience of relationships within connected people.
- COLLABORATION - the cooperative partnerships of individuals and organizations around a common interest or purpose.
- CITIZENSHIP - the practice of being a good neighbor.
We believe that effective partnership happens only with trust. We believe that trust is earned only through relationships. So rather than pursuing events and programs first, our approach is to first catalyze relationships that lead to trust because that will naturally lead individuals who discover a shared interest to form a partnership of their own. Our goal is to support, resource, and promote their event or program.
