Mission

Experiencing a tangible sense of community doesn’t come so easily for many people. It’s also difficult sometimes for people to know where they can go when they need something. Catalyst will develop a structure that will help people connect with others more fully while providing a context to collaborate around shared interests and to practice their citizenship in practical ways.

Mission Statement:

Our mission is to develop the relational infrastructure of an area by catalyzing sub-communities into an open system of relationships where members connect with one another and mutually contribute to and utilize a common pool of resources and services.

• OPEN SYSTEM OF RELATIONSHIPS - the broader network of participating sub-communities, social circles, and individuals that establishes and maintains ongoing relationships that build trust and leads to mutual partnership.



• COMMON POOL OF RESOURCES - a list of resources that are contributed by members of the open system and are made available to members of the open system.



• SERVICES - a list of services provided by business and professional networks and public agencies that are made available to members of the open system.
